After earning a bachelor's degree in kinesiology at Scranton, Emma Connolly entered graduate school at the University of Oregon, where she is completing a master's degree in sports product management.

Consultant on strategy team

Everett Charles Minchew earned a doctorate in biomedical science from East Carolina University. He works as a consultant on the strategy team at Ambit, Inc., a firm that provides patient identification and consulting services in the rare disease sector.

Julia Burrill, DPT, '19

Sports Physical Therapist

Julia Burrill, DPT, earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science and her doctorate in physical therapy from The University of Scranton. She is passionate about incorporating exercise science, fitness, and mindset into her sports physical therapy practice, and is the host of the Health & Fitness Podcast titled "The Goalset Mindset Podcast". 

Matthew McGovern , '17

Epidemiologist / Data Manager

Matthew McGovern graduated from the University of Scranton in May of 2017 with a Community Health Education degree and a concentration in Nutrition. He currently works as a COVID-19 Epidemiologist/Data Manager for Morris County, New Jersey.

After earning a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Scranton in 2020, Patrick Barney completed a master's degree in exercise physiology and sports nutrition. He is currently studying to become a Physician Assistant.

Stephen Gadomski, Ph.D., earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science (now called kinesiology) from the University of Scranton in 2015. He is currently enrolled in a dual M.D./Ph.D. program at the Medical University of South Carolina.
