Dr. Edward. Kravitz

The Neuroscience Program at the University of Scranton will be hosting it's annual fall conference on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at 3:00 pm. in LSC 133.

The guest speaker is Dr. Edward Kravitz, George Packer Berry Professor of Neurobiology at Harvard University.  His talk is entitled

"Genetic manipulations in the fruit fly fight club: how do amine neurons work?"

 
Dr. Kravitz has had a long and illustrious career studying the neurobiological and neuroendocrinological basis of behavior.  His most recent research focuses on the genetic manipulations of aggressive behavior in fruit flies.
