Royal Card Access To The Pro Deo Room

The first floor Pro Deo et Universitate Room is open for the campus 24 hours a day when classes are in session. During the two years of Library operation there have been no incidents requiring intervention by Library staff. The introduction of the Royal Card allows the campus to take a preventive safety measure by requiring a card "swipe to gain access tote room after 11:30 p.m. when the Library closes. The door control unit will unlock only for Royal Cards held by currently enrolled students and other members of the academic community.

 

The Royal Card may also be used to pay for other Library services including vending and photocopy machines, payment of fines and payment of interlibrary loan fees.
