BRASS MASTERCLASS WITH JUMAANE SMITH
A free brass masterclass with renowned trumpeter Jumaane Smith is being offered on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. The event is open to student, adult amateur, and professional brass players and music teachers, will last from 75 - 90 minutes, and pre-registration is requested. PERCUSSION CLINIC WITH STEVE FIDYK
A free percussion clinic with acclaimed percussionist and percussion educator Steve Fidyk will be offered on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. The clinic is jointly sponsored by the university, generously sponsored by Latin Percussion, Zildjian Cymbals, Drum Workshop, Vater Percussion, and Remo, and the companies will also be providing literature, materials and door prizes. The event is open to student, adult, amateur and professional percussionists and music teachers, will last for 75 - 90 minutes, and pre-registration is requested. TRUMPET AND TROMBONE WORKSHOP WITH CALEB AND AMANDA HUDSON
A free workshop for trumpeters and trombonists team-taught by husband and wife team Caleb Hudson and Amanda Hudson is currently being scheduled for mid-spring. Please check back for date, time and registration details.
