CMS Training 

The Office of Marketing Communications is responsible for all CMS training and support. We offer group training sessions periodically throughout the year:

  • Basic training for new employees and anyone who needs a refresher is usually offered on the third Friday of the month. 
    • To register for basic CMS training, please submit a ticket through the CMS Service Desk.
    • If you are a new CMS user, you will first need to submit a request for access to the CMS through Royal IT Support.
  • Other training sessions are typically offered once or twice a semester and are announced through emails to all CMS users. The sessions include:
    • Managing Your Content in the CMS
    • Writing for the Web
    • New Features in the CMS
