Pet Therapy - Canines on Campus
Pet Therapy is a special biannual event hosted by Campus Ministries' Center for Service and Social Justice to provide a stress relief to students. Held in late September and April, this event has drawn more than 800 visitors and 40 dogs each time. It is one of the most popular student events on campus. http://wnep.com/2015/09/29/students-de-stress-with-pet-therapy/
If you are a University of Scranton staff or faculty member, alumni, student or parent of a current student of The University of Scranton, have a dog that is fully vaccinated (including kennel cough), gets along well with large crowds of people and other dogs, and you have the time available, we would love to have you!
All dog owners must register their pet through Royal Sync at https://orgsync.com/96927/events/1226231/occurrences/2748691
Our next scheduled Pet Therapy date is Tuesday, April 26 from 11:30am-1pm on the Dionne Green/DeNaples Patio. In the event of rain, we will use our rain location in the Byron Center.
