New Coffee Bar Opens at Weinberg Library

LogoDo you ever just need that cup of coffee to wake you up in the morning or a cup of coffee while studying? The Weinberg Library working with ARA is now offering coffee, cappuccino, and tea service to everyone at The University of Scranton. The coffee bar, located in the Pro Deo Room on the Library's first floor, is open 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

"The coffee bar helps to make the Library a friendlier environment and a place where students can feel comfortable to study. Students would rather study without disruption over a cup of coffee or cold soft drink than pack their bags and leave the Library to purchase a drink," said Charles Kratz, Weinberg Library Director.

Specialty coffees, teas, and jumbo muffins, cinnamon buns, scones, and jumbo cookies will be on the menu. Java City coffee will be served. Different flavors of coffee include Cappuccino, Cafe Latte, Café Au Lait, Café White Mocha, Café Mocha, Steamer, Espresso, Caramel Macchiato, Almond Roca Latte, and Tux edo. And for tea drinkers, "Tazo" teas will be offered. This line includes 8 varieties: green teas, herbal teas, an Earl Grey, and more. "Chai" tea, a steamed black tea with 1/2 milk, ginger and vanilla, will also be sold.
