 At the University of Scranton, we care about our employees’ lives. Learn about the many ways the Employee Wellness program can support your wellness journey with Weekly Wellness Classes; Energizing Yoga, Lunchtime Yoga Flow, Light Weights & Abs, Mindfulness Meditation, POUND, Flu Shot Clinics and Blood Pressure Screenings, Weigh-in Wednesdays, Walking Programs, and Fitness Challenge (February).

Over this past year, we established new routines and navigated challenges, we must continue to be mindful of the need to maintain our health and well-being. The Center for Health Education & Wellness -Employee Wellness Program cares about you and has developed wellness classes and challenges to promote well-being and provide opportunities to connect

 Summer Weekly Wellness Classes 

Drop-in classes taught by professional instructors to promote stress relief and increase strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. Classes are open to students, staff and faculty and begin the week of 6/6 and go until 8/17.

Drop-In Pickleball 

Try America’s fastest growing sport and play with colleagues! The Employee Wellness Program is thrilled to announce Drop-in Pickleball in collaboration with Campus Recreation on Tuesdays in June and July beginning 6/7/22 from 12-1pm in the Byron Gym for staff and faculty. Drop-In sessions will take place 6/7,6/14,6/21,6/28, 7/5 and 7/26.  

No experience necessary, all skill levels welcome. If you are interested in being on the Pickleball email list, please email chew@scranton.edu

No yoga mat or change of clothes required for this 15-minute Wellness Break! Carve out time for yourself to stretch, connect with your breath, focus your mind and replenish your body. This quick practice is sure to help you move through your workday with ease and grace. Perfect when you need a re charge . A little goes a long way!
