President's Medal Gala
The University of Scranton presents the President’s Medal to individuals who have achieved excellence in their fields and who have demonstrated extraordinary compassion for others. On Oct. 2, the University honored Harry T. Rose ’65, a former University trustee and the founder and chairman of the Rose Group, one of the largest restaurant franchise companies in the United States, with the President’s Medal at Pier Sixty, Manhattan's largest waterfront venue, while raising money for the Presidential Scholarship Endowment Fund, which supports four-year, full-tuition, merit-based scholarships for incoming first-year students of promise. Thank you to all who made this joyous occasion a memorable success!
