The International Student Orientation is scheduled the week before classes commence according to the academic calendar. Orientation takes place at the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (OISSS) located in the Communication Wing on the 5th floor of St. Thomas Hall. The orientation is mandatory for all new international students, so we would advise that you arrive in Scranton at least 2 days prior to the orientation. We recommend that you arrange for your arrival to the Scranton/Wilkes- Barre Airport or the Scranton Bus Terminal during office hours so that we can better assist you when you arrive. The OISSS offers free airport/bus pick-up service from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 pm. Please write to email@example.com with your arrival details, as soon as you are accepted so that we can arrange for your pick-up.
Upon arrival in Scranton, you are required to report to the OISSS. Failure to check in may cause your immigration record to be cancelled and you to lose your non-immigrant status.
