Welcome to the virtual Fall 2020 Student Activities Fair!
Below you will find more information on various clubs, organizations, and select departments of the University of Scranton. Each hour, representatives from 25-27 organizations will be available via Zoom to meet with you and share with you more about their organization. Please make note of the time slot that each organization will be available. For your convenience, you may filter the clubs and organizations by each time slot (see below).
We invite you to take some time to learn about the clubs, organizations, and additional opportunities for you to engage with our campus community. While there are many different types of clubs and organizations, we've broken them down into six different categories.

AFYA: The Global Health Club
The AFYA Club collects gently used/new medical supplies for the AFYA Foundation, which delivers these supplies across the world to countries in need, and organizes fundraisers to aid the foundation.

Come learn about the ROTC program at the University of Scranton.
No experience necessary! Arts catered to everyone’s skill level.
We use the telescope to point out and talk about astronomical topics!
Autism Speaks U
Autism Speaks U helps to advocate, spread awareness and raise funds for individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Visit our booth to learn more about how you can be involved! :)
With Beading Hope, we raise awareness and advocate for people with mental illness. This semester, we will be reaching out to the community through internet cards and other pen pal options.
Come join us as we study the book of Luke together this year! No prior Bible knowledge is needed, all Scranton Students are welcome!
The Biology club is here as a resource for all students! Our goal is to help biology students interact and connect with each other and to stay up to date on the latest biology topics!
The Business Club is a non-profit, student-run service organization that serves the academic and social needs of the business-oriented University of Scranton students. All majors stop by to learn more about business!
Campus Ministries offers students opportunities to explore their relationship with God through active reflection and discernment on retreats, engaging in interfaith dialogue, and worshipping together as a community of faith.
Center for Service & Social Justice
The University of Scranton responds to the Gospel call to help those in need. Experiences are intentionally designed to challenge students to be women and men of faith for others and of service to their communities.

Circle K is an international student-led collegiate service organization that is dedicated to offering numerous service projects and volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Join us and help make a difference!
College Democrats facilitates a safe space for students to discuss and debate issues; while providing opportunities to engage and get involved in the political process.
Colleges Against Cancer
Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) works toward eliminating cancer by raising money for the American Cancer Society. We hold a variety of events throughout the year including Relay for Life.
Commuter Student Association
CSA offers many opportunities to get involved into the community and events that are unforgettable! CSA you there!
Counseling & Human Services Association
CHS majors and others interested in counseling and human service issues come together to participate in service as well as sponsor fundraising activities to assist those in need.
Criminal Justice Club
The Criminal Justice Club welcomes all with an interest in various criminal justice agencies. We strive to give students insight into these career paths and opportunities to make connections!
Cross Cultural Centers
The Cross-Cultural Centers (The Jane Kopas Women's Center and The Multicultural Center) are committed to fostering an inclusive community on campus.
Electric City Scranton Ultimate (ECSU)
ECSU is a co-ed club sport that strives to teach Ultimate to all interested players and compete against other schools in the nearby area.
Friends of Rachel
This club aligns with Rachel’s challenge and focuses on creating more positive school environments. Find out how you can help fight bullying and promote kindness throughout the Scranton community, on and off campus!

Habitat for Humanity
A nonprofit, ecumenical club which builds and rehabilitates simple homes alongside the homeowner families who otherwise would not be able to afford them.
A coding club with the goal of introducing others to useful resources in the field.
Health Administration Society
The Health Administration Society is a group which provides support to students interested in the field of health administration as well as opportunities for professional development.
IMA Student Chapter
The IMA Student Chapter strives to connect accounting, finance and IT students with professionals in their field through networking and enriching and educational meetings.
International Business Club
A club for all students interested in how business is conducted in various parts of the world
Irish Cultural Society
Students of all cultural backgrounds are welcome to engage in the Irish experience! Learn some authentic dancing, enjoy some delicious food, and learn about why we are proud to be Irish!
Kindness for Chemo
Our mission is to bring positivity to pediatric oncology patients by doing simple acts of kindness. We want to show them we admire their strength and are here for them as they struggle.
The University of Scranton Kinesiology Club aims to promote health and fitness in the university community and gets students connected in the fields of kinesiology, exercise science and other health-related fields!

Liva Arts Company
Interested in musical theater? Come talk to us about our student-run musical theater club activities and the shows we normally put on every semester.
Men's Club Volleyball
Men's Club Volleyball, all skill levels welcome.
Student run club rowing team; no prior rowing experience is required. We row in both fall and spring, visit our booth for more details about joining.
Men's Rugby Club is a club sports team dedicated to rugby on the field and growing as individuals. We compete throughout the year, playing teams from Pennsylvania all the way to California!
Men and Women for Octaves
MW48 is an organization that seeks to bring people together through a cappella music. We perform a concert each semester in conjunction with occasional on- and off-campus events.
Students serve as attorneys and witnesses to follow a court case process via simulation, developing critical thinking skills, persuasive argument skills, public speaking and decisive reaction skills.
Mountain Sports Club
Our club provides very cheap recreational activities (and transportation) for students including: hiking, skiing/snowboarding, paintball, white water rafting, ziplining, and more!
Nurses2Newborns is a club where the members fundraise all year to purchase supplies for mothers in need. This club is not limited to nursing majors! It is open to anyone who wants to help mothers and babies in need!
Open to all student singers and instrumentalists. No audition nor participation fee required. Includes University Bands, Performance Choirs, String Orchestra & Ensembles, and more!
Phi Beta Lambda
Future Business Leaders of America focuses on professionalism and career preparation through competitive events at the state and national level, fundraising, community service and other business related activities.
Political Science Club
The Political Science Club is a place to discuss and debate political issues, ideologies, and governments. People from any major and all over the political spectrum are welcome to join.
Praise and Worship
We are a club that meets weekly to sing contemporary Christian songs and engage in fellowship together.
Our goal is to educate members on the types of law and create a social environment through community service, guest speakers, LSAT study groups, pre-law panel and networking reception, and law school tours.
Pre-Physician Assistant Club
A resource for information about the roles of physician assistants, how to become a valuable candidate, and required prerequisites and healthcare experience.
A club that aids pre-vet students and prepares them for veterinary school.
The Psychology Club is an academic social club. The psychology club aims to bring people with a passion for psychology together while updating members on the exciting occurrences in the department.
Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)
Focus is on PR and promotional work. Compete in national competition. Can join for fun or credit, being a comm student is not required!
Random Acts of Kindness
RAKS emphasizes the importance and benefits of being kind to others. We take part in self and organized random acts of kindness; it is both fun and fulfilling! Join us this semester!
Relay for Life
Relay for Life helps raise money for the American Cancer Society and celebrate survivors and those who have passed away from cancer.
Royal Expressions is an all-inclusive dance club focusing on ballet and contemporary.

Scranton Alliance For Equity (SAFE)

The Society for Sustainability and Conservation educates the university community about environmental issues including climate change through service and activities!
Society of Accounting Students
The Society of Accounting Students and Beta Alpha Psi plan networking, educational, and professional meetings to connect accounting and finance students with one another and professionals in their field.
SOTA: Student Occupational Therapy Association
SOTA is for students that wish to go into or learn more about the field of occupational therapy! All majors are welcome to join and get connected with the many OT students we have here at Scranton!
Spanish Cultural Society
SCS provides a friendly, educational, and inclusive environment for ALL students at the University of Scranton. Join us to learn about our upcoming events and how you can become a member of our club!
The Student Senate deals with pertinent issues that affect the day-to-day lives of students at The University of Scranton.
Student Nurses Association (SNA)
This is a club open to all nursing students here at the University of Scranton! We provide opportunities for students to participate in service projects, career networking, and social events related to nursing.

Tactical Fitness Club
Tactical Fitness Club offers motivating and challenging activities for all students whether they are interested in serving in the military or want to become more physically fit.
The Philosophy Society
The Philosophy Society is a recognized student club open to all students devoted to promoting the study of philosophy and activities related to philosophy.
The Royals Fishing Club
The Royals fishing club is one of the newest club sports on campus. Join us in fishing the nature-rich Northeastern Pennsylvania's bodies of water.
The University of Scranton Italian Society
Italian Society celebrates the rich and exciting heritage of Italians. We welcome everyone to join us as we try to inform our student body about the amazing Italian culture and lifestyle!
THR1VE holds events on campus such as celebrations for the first-generation identity, financial wellness, and networking events.
United Cultures Organization
UCO holds events that promote multiculturalism, equity, and diversity on campus!
University of Scranton Cheerleading Team
Scranton Cheer performs at campus events and all Men's and Women's basketball home games. We compete at Nationals each January in Florida. Visit our booth to learn more about the team.
University of Scranton Dance Team
The University of Scranton Dance Team performs at sporting events and other events on campus, as well as competes at UDA Nationals in Disney every year! Come visit us to learn more about the team and tryouts!
University of Scranton Equestrian Team (USET)
The University of Scranton Equestrian team is a club sport, we compete in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. The team is for riders of all backgrounds and all experience levels.
University of Scranton Fencing Club
The University of Scranton's resident fencing club. All skill levels are welcomed and all three disciplines are practiced.
University of Scranton Players
The University of Scranton Players are the co-curricular student organization of the Theatre Program and produce 4 shows a year in the Royal Theatre.

USPB plans some of the best events on campus! Visit our booth to learn about upcoming events and how you can get involved!
Urban Beats Crew
UBC is a hip hop dance team on campus! We are student-run and choreograph all of our dances including a variety of dance styles!
Come talk to the women's rugby captains and learn more about a long-standing tradition of teamwork, friendship, and of course, rugby. Absolutely no experience necessary!
