Red Out Basketball Game

On, December 2nd , please join The Center for Health Education and Wellness to support the Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams for RED OUT Basketball games in celebration of AIDS AWARENESS WEEK. FREE FOOD will be given to all fans that come to game wearing a red t-shirt. The games are at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Long Center.

AIDS DAY PRAYER SERVICE

Please join The Center for Health Education and Wellness on Tuesday, December 1st at 6:00 p.m. on the Dionne Green for an AIDS Prayer Service. Light refreshments will be served.

42nd Annual Noel Night

Performance Music at The University of Scranton presents:

Admission is free as a Christmas gift from the university to the community

Holiday Vendor Fair

A Holiday Vendor Fair will take place in the McIlhenny Ballroom, DeNaples 4th floor on Thursday, December. 3rd, 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.  Choose from gifts of fine and costume jewelry, crafts, ornaments, handmade cards and glass, accessories, sweet treats and more.

Adopt an Angel Gifts Due

Gifts for Adopt an Angel and The Giving Tree are due to The Community Outreach Office, 205B DeNaples Center, on Monday December 7th.  Giving Tree gifts should be returned unwrapped.  Angel presents should be returned unwrapped, with a roll of Christmas wrap and tape, in a bag with the child's first name and assigned number visible.  Gifts will distributed to agencies by December 11th.  If you cannot make the December 7 due date, please contact email judgee2@scranton.edu to see if alternative arrangements can be made.

Blood Drive

The Community Outreach Office will be sponsoring a Blood Drive with the American Red Cross on Tuesday, December 1st from 10-4 in the Long Center Lobby.  To give blood for transfusion to another person, you must be healthy, be at least 17 years old or 16 years old if allowed by state law. You must weigh at least 110 pounds, and not have donated whole blood in the last 8 weeks (56 days) or double red cells in the last 16 weeks (112 days).  Please bring some form of ID.  To learn detailed guidelines about eligibility visit http://www.redcross.org/en/eligibility#tat.  Students who like to volunteer for service hours as a walker or canteen worker should contact Larry Gifford at Gifford@neparc.org prior to the drive.  Community Outreach 570-941-7429.

Crafts and Bake Sale Fundraiser

Council for Exceptional Children will be having a fundraiser in the DeNaples Center (crafts and bake sale) on December 1st. They will be having a fundraiser at Kildaires on December 2nd and a dance for Northeast ARC on December 3rd at 6:30 p.m. in Long Center. Math SPIRAL Christmas Party

University Advent Reconciliation Service

Wednesday, December 2 at 8:00 p.m., Madonna della Strada Chapel
The Advent Reconciliation Service will include communal prayer and the opportunity for individual confession. All members of the University Community are invited to attend.

University of Scranton Players Present

The University of Scranton Players will present the comedy The
Underpants by Carl Sternheim, adapted by Steve Martin and directed by
Michael O'Steen. The show starts @ 8PM Thurs-Sat. and Sun. @2 PM in the
Royal Theatre located in the McDade Center for Literary and Performing
Arts. Tickets for Faculty, Students, and Staff are only $5 and $8 for
