Ten current and former participants of the Magis formation program gathered at Chapman Lake, the retreat center of The University of Scranton from June 12 to 14 for a retreat and reunion.

Provided through the generosity of the Jesuit Center at The University of Scranton, participants prayerfully reconnected with each other and listened to presentations by Scranton Jesuits Ryan Maher, S.J., director of the Jesuit Center; Rick Malloy, S.J., vice president for Mission and Ministry and Tom Pesci, S.J., minister of the Jesuit Community.

Magis is an 18-month lay formation program sponsored by The Jesuit Collaborative that offers lay colleagues the opportunity to engage in Ignatian spirituality, explore the mission and way of proceeding of the Jesuits and meet other Ignatian colleagues on the east coast.

More information and applications for our next cohort can be found at www.jesuitcollaborative.org/magis.
