IMPACT, a First-Year Leadership Experience

The University of Scranton Center for Student Engagement is proud to announce its second annual IMPACT! First-Year Leadership Experience Retreat.  This year’s retreat will take place September 13, 2013 – September 14, 2013 at Chapman Lake Retreat Center.

The IMPACT! First-Year Leadership Experience is a unique chance for first-year students interested in leadership positions on campus to expand their skills and learn more about the different offices that provide leadership opportunities on campus.
Students will participate in several sessions about enhancing leadership skills, engage in team building activities, and receive valuable insight about what being a leader on campus involves from a panel and Q&A session with student leaders.
This opportunity is available exclusively to first-year students.  Only 30 spots are available for this year’s retreat.  Therefore, interested students are urged to register as soon as possible.
Students can register by visiting the IMPACT! event page on RoyalSync (  After registering and to secure their spot, students should bring a $10 of cash or Royal (covers overnight accommodations, meals, and transportation) to the Center for Student Engagement Office located in the Forum on the second floor of the DeNaples Center.
