The following items highlight the many alumni events and initiatives at The University of Scranton. 

Medical Mission to Haiti

Alumni doctors and current students are preparing for the Medical Alumni Council’s annual medical mission to Haiti. Once again, the team will work with Fr. Rick Frechette, C.P. H’07, St. Damian’s Hospital Director, doctor and priest.

Lead by Hartford, Conn., maxillofacial surgeon Dr. Richard Bevilacqua ’83, the team will depart on January 26 to provide the much needed medical care to the underserved people of Haiti.

Dr. Bevilacqua will be joined by Dr. Pamela Taffera ’02, Dr. Chris Jones ’02, Dr. Chris Andres ’89 and University students Moriah Diamond '13, Brian Entler '13, Lucie Henry '13 and Nicholas Cucci '14.
