University of Scranton Students Participate in Service Trips During Easter Break

During Easter break, 17 University of Scranton students participated in three domestic service trips organized by Campus Ministries’ Center for Service and Social Justice.

Students volunteered at the McKenna Center in Washington, D.C., a daytime drop-in center for homeless men, at which students volunteer at food pantries and soup kitchens. Students volunteered at Francis Corps, Syracuse, New York, a Roman Catholic faith-based program, which runs after school programs for Latino, African American, and refugee students; a food pantry; and a free medical clinic.  Students also volunteered at Habitat for Humanity of Cumberland County, New Jersey doing home building.
