Native American Healing Practices Discussed at University Presentation

Philmer Bluehouse will provide information about “Dinĕh Medicine,” which is based on Native American healing practices for the mind, body and spirit. The presentation, which is free of charge and open to the public, will take place Thursday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the Moskovitz Theater of the DeNaples Center.

At the presentation, Bluehouse will provide a visual “Dinĕh Medicine Paradigm” that will be used as a reference to guide the audience through the process in dealing with and guiding people to heal.

Bluehouse practices the “Achievement/Progress System” of Dinĕh Medicine. He also designed, developed and implemented the Navajo Judicial Branch’s Peacemaking Program.

The presentation is supported by a University of Scranton Clavius Grant.
