Over six hundred feet of fencing was installed. The fencing was installed on the first base side, third base side and the entire outfield this spring.  The University  of Scranton engineer's time was also donated to specify, competitively bid and manage the project.  Shown near the new fence are, from left: Francis "Toby" Lovecchio, director of athletics at The University of Scranton; Peter Petrucci, president, Connell Park Baseball Association; Michael Bartoletti, head baseball coach, The University of Scranton; Mark Murphy, assistant director of utilities and engineer, The University of Scranton; and Pat Belardi, Connell Park Baseball Association board member.
