Students Recognized for Academic Achievement at the University of Scranton
Students at The University of Scranton were recognized for outstanding academic achievement at an awards ceremony held recently on campus.
Frank O’Hara medals were given to first, second and third-year students with the highest grade point average in the Kania School of Management, the Panuska College of Professional Studies, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Graduate and Continuing Education. The award is named in honor of the late Frank O’Hara, who served the university for 53 years in various administrative positions.
Recipients of Frank O’Hara medals from the Kania School of Management are: first-year student Jessica Palmeri, Kingston; second-year student Amanda S. Marcy, Kingsley; and William Pugh IV, Hillsborough, N.J., and Frederick T. Fuchs, Whitehouse Station, N.J., both third-year students.
Recipients of Frank O’Hara medals from the Panuska College of Professional Studies are: first-year student Marla Osborne, Carbondale; second-year student Nicole M. Zullo, Perth Amboy, N.J.; and Noel J. McFadden, Brick, N.J., third-year student.
Recipients of Frank O’Hara medals from the College of Arts and Sciences are: first-year students Melissa A. Wasilewski, Clarks Summit; Jacquelyn Stypulkowski, Moscow, and Maria A. Gubbiotti, Falls; second-year student William Woody, Bryn Mawr; and third-year student Matthew A. Mercuri, Moscow.
Recipients of Frank O’Hara medals from the College of Graduate and Continuing Education are: first-year student Lucille A. Morris, Moscow; and second-year Michele L. Wrazien, Wyoming.
