January Orientation 2020
We are so excited to welcome you to The University of Scranton! For our incoming students transferring from another institution, we will invite you to an orientation session that will help you navigate the transition to the University community. Additional information regarding the date and schedule of the January orientation session will be available in early December 2020.
Testing and Advising
As part of your enrollment at the University, transfer students will participate in applicable placement testing and academic advising with their college advising centers.
Each incoming student will meet individually with an academic advisor within your respective college, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Kania School of Management, or the Panuska College of Professional Studies. In this meeting, you will review your fall schedule, go over your academic goals, and resolve any questions you have about academics at the University.
Depending on your intended major and any transfer credits you are awarded, you may be required to take a math placement exam.
The IT orientation webpage has been designed to help all incoming students and their parents to navigate through our various campus technology resources. Learn more about our Student Laptop Program, wireless campus networks, telephone and cable services, and our Technology Support Center.
