Tis' the season for celebrating Scranton.

Please join the University community for a Scranton tradition on Sunday, November 27, 2011.

Advent Mass and Christmas Tree Lighting
5:00 p.m.
Byron Recreation Complex

This annual tradition is held on the Sunday following Thanksgiving break and marks the first Sunday of Advent. The liturgy concludes with a candlelit procession to the Dionne Green for the lighting of the Christmas tree. All denominations are welcome to attend.

Christmas on the Commons
6:30 p.m.
The DeNaples Center Patio and Dionne Green

Following the tree lighting The University of Scranton Programming Board (USPB) will sponsor Christmas on the Commons. Join your student at this Christmas celebration featuring crafts, hot chocolate, coffee and pictures by the tree.
