Research Projects vary from routine chemical analysis (e.g, transfer of flavor compounds from bourbon barrels to beer during the aging process, analysis of public water near fracking sites and ground transfer of chemicals) to highly focused glycomics methods (biochemical processing of proteins followed by analysis using mass spectrometry) to investigating ionization methods in Laser Desorption Ionization (LDI) mass spectrometry using nanoparticles.
