{ 2 } - that the whole Church as a unified community is infallible (cannot make a mistake) in its faith.
{ 3 } - that Jesus has given the Church the guidance of His Holy Spirit.
{ 4 } - that they are united in one mind and judgment by the Holy Spirit.
{ 5 } - that the faith of the community can be determined by a poll of those who call themselves Catholics.

The faith of the community can be determined only from those who strive to live by their faith, that is, those who actually believe and are committed to it.
