Mallory Brayer is a BCMB major who is working on calcium fluxes initiated by glucose in pancreatic adenoma cells.

Shannon Loftus is a Biology Major working on interleukin 6 and cultured HepG2 cells as a model for in vivo inflammation-induced responses of hepatocytes.

Kara Romanowski is a BCMB major and a member of the Honors Program.  She is working on lipid metabolism in HepG2 cells and the effects of pharmacological agents on lipid accumulation. She was awarded a Presidential University Summer Research Fellowship in 2017. She authored a poster presentation for the American Society for Cell Biology in San Diego, Dec. 8-12, 2018.
