Ventral Surface:

Again you can see the cerebrum at the rostral end of this image and the brain stem at the caudal end.  The lateral edges of the cerebellum are peeking down from the dorsal surface of the brain stem just caudal to the cerebrum in this ventral view. 

This is another bit-o- text to practice in order to become a fluent neuoranatomist. 

The midline of the brain is very clear on the ventral surface.  You can see the two sides of the cerebrum and the brain stem have a very clear midline.  The basilar artery, which is lying on the ventral surface of the brain, is easily seen as it runs up the midline of the brain stem.
