Research Interests
Dr. Betancourt teaches Psychology of Racism, Psychological Testing, Career Development in Psychology, and Fundamentals of Psychology. His research interests include understanding the impact of microaggressions on people of color, bullying in schools, and addressing disparities in educational outcomes. This work draws heavily from Black Studies, applying critical frameworks to understand race, power, identity, systemic inequalities.
