Research and Teaching Interests

Specializes in 20^th Century Europe, with an emphasis on Russia and Germany, as well as modern military, diplomatic, and religious history.  Among his research interests are Trans-Atlantic relations during the Cold War, the United Nations, and the conclusion and aftermath of the Second World War in Europe and the Pacific.
