Nursing Students Help Administer Vaccine Shots

Nursing students and faculty have been serving in vaccination clinics in the Scranton area.

University nursing students have been featured in several news articles, from the AP to PA Homepage.

More students are applying to nursing programs this year.

"The need is there," said Kim Subasic, chair of the University's Department of Nursing.

“It's such a difficult time right now and I feel like we’re working through it, we’re all learning. And no one better to be with than the nurses and professors from the University to get us through it," said Anna Totsky, University nursing student, in a PA Homepage story.

“I never even thought in my life we’d be dealing with a pandemic,” said junior nursing student Audrey E. Campo in a recent Citizens' Voice article. “It makes me feel like I made the right decision and went with the right school.”
