Educational Background: BA in Liberal Arts, Minor in Anthropology, State University of New York at Oneonta; MA in Anthropology, New York University; MLS, State University of New York, University at Albany

Narda is Associate Professor in the Library at The University of Scranton, where she has been employed since 1994.

Narda coordinates Technical Services, which oversees acquisitions, serials and electronic resources, including the ordering and receipt of materials in all languages and formats.  Provides support and assistance to academic departments regarding Library resource budgets.  Participates in and supports the Library’s information literacy instruction program.

Elected to the Faculty Senate (2015-2017).  Editor of the ALCTS Publications Committee’s Library Materials Price Index published annually in the Information Today’s Library and Book Trade Almanac. Member of Library Advisory Committee. Member of the American Library Association, Association for Library Collections and Technical Services, Association of College and Research Libraries and the Pennsylvania Library Association.

Interests and Expertise: Electronic resources; print materials acquisitions; print and online serials subscriptions; budget management; analysis and depiction of data trends.
