Rose Sebastianelli, Ph.D.
EXCELLENCE IN INTEGRATING SUSTAINABILITY INTO THE CURRICULUM
This award recognizes the efforts of faculty who strive for excellence in teaching about sustainability and who make extraordinary efforts to introduce that essential concept into the curriculum. The award is given to a faculty member who is actively engaged in developing, promoting and strengthening curricula that ensure that when students leave the University of Scranton, they will possess the awareness, competence, skills and insights to appreciate and/or advance sustainability in a local and global context. The recipient of this year’s award is Dr. Rose Sebastianelli.
Dr. Sebastianelli, an Alpern Endowed Chair in Business Administration and Professor in the department of Operations and Information Management, joined the University in 1988. She received her BS in 1980 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Ph.D. in 1989 from Pennsylvania State University.
