Iordanis Petsas, Ph.D.
EXCELLENCE FOR UNIVERSITY SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP
This award is designed to recognize the efforts of faculty who strive for excellence in service to the University, the profession and the community and who demonstrate academic leadership by effective mentoring of junior colleagues. Dr. Iordanis Petsas is this years awardee. Dr. Petsas, professor and chair of the University's Department of Economics and Finance, joined Scranton's faculty in 2002. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Thessaloniki and his master's and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Florida.
