Program Assessment Plans & Reporting

All academic programs prepare annual assessment plans, and submit reports on the assessment of program-level learning outcomes on a regular cycle. In addition to these reports, departments are able to report assessment activity via the University's electronic Annual Report System.

Institutional Research Office Assessment Support

The University's Office of Institutional Research conducts a variety of surveys and other evaluative activities that can be used to provide indirect measures of student learning. These include cyclic administration of the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), and College Senior Survey (CSS). View the current survey cycle here.

The Office prepares analysis of these data related to the University's institutional student learning outcomes (ILOs), as well as the AAC&U's High Impact Practices. View recent OIR reports here. Academic departments are encouraged to reach out to OIR for questions about or assistance with using these data in their own program-level assessment activities. Samples of recent analysis:
