Professor Tross has had the opportunity to practice in multiple areas of healthcare and nursing. Her professional career started on a medical/surgical unit. She then cross trained in critical care and emergency medicine. Professor Tross has worked at all levels in Emergency nursing, from staff, to charge nurse to Department manager. She has worked on projects that investigated patient retention in the emergency department and implemented changes locall that positively impacted patient care services.
