Arjita Bhargava

Arjita Bhargava, Mumbai, India is pursuing a Masters in Health Administration degree at the University of Scranton. She is currently Director of International and Cultural Relations of the Scranton’s ACHE Student Chapter and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of Health Administration and Human Resources. Arjita is a member of national professional organizations including American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Health Care Financial Management Association (HFMA). She is interested in global health and has traveled to Slovakia in May 2018 Global Health Management trip to present her research in three international conferences.

Prior to pursuing Master in Health Administration, Arjita graduated from Y.M.T Dental College, India in May 2015 and earned her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She practiced dentistry in India for over 2 years and gained clinical knowledge by working in a non-profit hospital and a private dental clinic. Arjita was a teaching facilitator for Teach India by British Council where she helped undergraduate students in public schools refine their English speaking skills.

Arjita is actively involved in the Scranton community and volunteers with VNA Home Health and Hospice and Geisinger CMC. In her free time, Arjita enjoys traveling, baking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Upon completion of the Masters of Health Administration, Arjita would like to work with a health system for quality and patient experience improvement.
