Bio

Travis Davis reports directly to the Deputy Adjutant General for Veterans Affairs.  His bureau provides the leadership necessary to fulfill the vision, mission, and core values of the department, and drives quality, leadership, results, and strategy for the veterans homes throughout the commonwealth. Davis provides strategic direction for the overall governance of long-term care at the veterans homes, promotes accountability, reports regulatory issues, and provides direction and oversight for veterans homes construction projects, renovations, and maintenance. 

Before joining the Department of Military & Veterans Affairs, Davis served as Assistant Vice President at Allied Services Integrated Health System, a large non-profit healthcare and human services organization in Scranton, PA. His prior experience includes post-acute health care services and operations, specifically in the areas of skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), rehabilitation services, home-and-community-based services such as hospice and palliative care. He is passionate about long term care services and enjoys working with other senior-level management to strategically build successful clinical programs across the continuum of care.

Davis received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University and graduate degree in Healthcare Administration from The University of Scranton. He is a licensed nursing home administrator and adjunct professor of The University of Scranton’s Health Administration and Human Resources Department.

In 2017, he received a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Scranton. In 2018, Davis was listed as a Top 20 under 40 by Northeast Pennsylvania Business Journal. Davis currently sits on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Health Care Association and has previously served on the Community Council at the Children’s Advocacy Center of NEPA and former Vice Chair of the Board at the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute.

He resides in Waverly Township, Pennsylvania with his wife Lauren, daughter Lillie, sons, Hayden and Brooks, and dog Nash. This fall, Davis will be running the Marine Corps Marathon in honor of all the women and men who have served our country, especially those veterans who reside in a state veterans home.
