The Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program at The University of Scranton emphasizes the skills and perspectives necessary to succeed in today's global and technology-based business environment.  The Kania School of Management is fully accredited by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).  AACSB International accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide.  Institutions that earn accreditation confirm their commitment to quality and continuous improvement through a rigorous and comprehensive peer review.  Along with AACSB accreditation, the University's MBA program has been ranked among the top 15 in the nation for general management according to Entrepreneur Magazine.  In addition, the Princeton Review rates the Kania School of Management among its "Best 300 Business Schools".

A Flexible M.B.A. Program

The M.B.A. program is comprised of qualifying, extending and mission specific courses.  Qualifying courses prepare those who have undergraduate degrees in something other than business for the extending M.B.A. courses.  The extending courses are designed to immerse you in key functional areas of business: Accounting, Economics, Enterprise Management Technology, Finance, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing and Operations Management.  These extending courses allow you to tailor your M.B.A. to your interests and requirements, taking a maximum of four courses in any single area.  The mission specific courses combine your knowledge of these different areas into a cohesive learning experience based on the Jesuit philosophy of responsibility and justice.
