Niyati Ahuja

Dr. Niyati Ahuja joined the department in 2009 after earning a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University. She is an assistant professor of Economics and the Director of KSOM’s Women’s Business Center.  Her research interests are primarily in the fields of Industrial Organization and Applied Microeconomics. Her dissertation explores empirical questions concerning the credit card industry. Her current research focuses on payment systems and consumer finance.  She teaches Monetary and Financial Economics and Principles courses in Micro and Macroeconomics.
