More Than a Master's Degree

The Nursing department at The University of Scranton offers course work leading to either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with the following specializations:

  • Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN)
  • Executive Nurse Leadership (MSN)
  • Nurse Practice (DNP)

The department also offers a Master of Science in Nursing degree for nurses who hold advanced practice certification as either certified registered nurse practitioners (CRNPs), certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) or certified nurse midwives (CNMs).

Scranton’s graduate Nursing program was recently ranked in the top 100 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
