Orientation
The International Student Orientation is scheduled the week before classes commence according to the academic calendar. Orientation takes place at the Office of Global Education (OGE) located on the First Floor of O'Hara Hall. The orientation is mandatory for all new international students so we would advise that you arrive in Scranton at least 2 days prior to orientation. We recommend that you arrange for your arrival to the Scranton/Wilkes- Barre Airport or the Scranton Bus Terminal during office hours so that we can better assist you when you arrive. The OGE offers free airport/bus pick-up service from 8:00-8:00 pm. Please write to international@scranton.edu with your arrival details as soon as you are accepted so that we can arrange for your pick-up.
Upon arrival in Scranton, you are required to report to the OGE. Failure to check in may cause your immigration record to be canceled and you to lose your non-immigrant status.
