At a black tie gala on April 26, 2008, The University of Scranton publicly launched the Pride, Passion, Promise Campaign. More than 450 guests were in attendance at the Gala, during which the minimum campaign goal of $100,000,000 was announced.  During the Gala, Christopher “Kip” ’70 and Margaret “Peggy” Condron, national co-chairs of Pride, Passion, Promise Campaign, announced that $68,000,000 had already been pledged or committed toward the goal.
