President's Undergraduate Reception

When is the Undergraduate Reception?
The reception will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Due to set up, doors will not open prior to 8:00 p.m.
When will I receive the invitation?
Invitations will be sent out to families of the graduates in early May.
Where do I get tickets?
Families can reserve three complimentary tickets (includes the undergraduate) by registering online. The link to the online registration will be included in the invitation and can be accessed here.
What if I would like more than three tickets?
Additional tickets can be purchased for $30 each. There will be an opportunity to purchase additional tickets via the online registration form. Please note that registration will close on May 16. Tickets will not be available after this date, so please plan accordingly.
Do I have to pay for my young children?
Yes, only three complimentary tickets are provided. Each additional ticket will cost $30, regardless of the age of additional guests.
Will dinner be served?
No, families should make their own plans for dinner preceding the reception. The reception offers cocktails, hor d'oeuvers, desserts, coffee/tea, a deejay, and dancing. Follow the Downtown Scranton Information link for a comprehensive guide to restaurant options located just blocks away from the University, many offering extended hours during Commencement weekend.
Is this a formal event?
No, this event is designed to be an adult reception with a party-like atmosphere. Dress is business casual.
