Housing Selection Information Sessions

General Overview

All information sessions will be held during the Spring 2017 semester. Info sessions will be scheduled during day and evening times to accomodate student schedules. Individual and small group sessions will also be available in the Office of Residence Life upon request. Scheduled locations, dates, and times will be posted prior to the start of the spring semester.

Current First-year Selection Process

Information sessions will be held in each of the first-year residence halls. Current residents are required to attend at least one session to learn about the process and the online system.

Upperclass Selection Process

Most upperclass (rising junior and senior students) have completed the online selection/lottery process at least one. As such, there will fewer information sessions for this population. Sessions will be held in large community spaces in the residence halls and the DeNaples Center. While rising junior and senior students are not required to attend an information session we strongly encourage students to make sure they understand the process fully before selecting housing.

Graduate Student Selection Process

Due to a smaller population of graduate students that live on campus, information about the selection process will be shared directly with students via email. Students may contact our office directly with additional questions.
