Mondays

Mindfulness Meditation, 5pm – 5:30pm, 305 Weinberg Memorial Library (held during the fall and spring semesters)
Light Weights and Abs, 5pm-6pm, Royals Room in the Byron- staff and faculty only (held during fall and spring semesters)

Tuesdays

Mindfulness Meditation, 5- 5:30pm, 305 Weinberg Memorial Library (held during the fall and spring semesters)

Wednesdays

Hatha Yoga, 12:15- 12:45, Royals Room in the Byron (held during the fall and spring semesters)

Energizing Yoga, 6pm – 7pm, Royals Room in the Byron (held during the fall and spring semesters)

Gentle Yoga, 12:10pm – 12:40pm, Royals Room in the Byron
Classes begin the second week of the semester and run through "dead" week, the week before finals.

   Energizing Yoga: This class is for experienced students as well as beginners with a higher fitness level.
      Breath is emphasized throughout this practice. The class includes sun salutations, standing, seated and reclining poses as well as some balancing poses. Relaxation closes the class.
       Wednesdays 6pm – 7pm in the Royals Room in the Byron
       Thursdays 5pm – 6pm in the Royals Room in the Byron

Gentle Yoga: This class is perfect for the beginner or someone who prefers a slower yoga class.  Basic yoga poses will be taught.  Breathing practices and relaxation techniques will be presented to achieve an inner sense of wellbeing. Instruction will include simple alignment techniques to cultivate comfortable posture and internal strength.

Light Weights & Abs:  An upbeat group fitness class combining total body toning and aerobic exercise using light weights and resistance bands. Have fun while burning fat and strengthening your muscles, heart and lungs. Please wear comfortable workout attire and sneakers. Light weights are provided.
Open to staff and faculty only.

Mindfulness Meditation: This half hour class provides the fundamentals of Mindfulness Mediation which is shown to reduce anxiety, depression and to improve well-being. Through increased awareness of body sensations, thoughts and emotions and a reduction in stress sensations these practices are intended to enhance the participant’s ability to recognize and respond to the stressors of everyday life.
Through meditation and awareness exercises, we will explore this practical time-proven approach to living fully in the present moment.
Open to students, staff and faculty

Weigh in Wednesdays: Staff, Faculty and Students: Want to be mindful of your weight to stay healthy? Keep track at the scale on Wednesdays at three convenient locations. Staff and faculty sign in to get 10 wellness points each time you weigh in towards the Tier 3 wellness incentive. The weigh in is confidential. No need to track or report to anyone. 9am - 4pm.
