Coping with Anxiety Group

Many of us experience times in our life when we are anxious.  Before a big exam, a job interview, after a break-up, or when we find ourselves in new situations.  However, sometimes anxiety begins to overtake most aspect of our lives.  If you have trouble sleeping because your mind keeps running, if you experience panic, or if you feel as though your mood is controlling your life, this may be the group for you.  Join us for relaxation training, controlled breathing exercises, thought stopping and reconstruction  and discussions to find out why anxiety is becoming the central focus of your life.  This group will begin meeting the middle of September on Tuesdays from 12:00p.m.-1:00 p.m. starting September 15, 2015 If you are interested in joining this group, please contact the Counseling Center at (570) 941-7620.
