Retrieving an Image from the Web


How to Retrieve and Save an Image

Using Internet Explorer:

  1. Place the cursor over the image you want to retrieve.

  2. Using your mouse, right click on the image.

  3. From the menu that appears select "Save Picture As..."

  4. Choose a file name and location on your local drive to where you want to save the image.

  5. Click "Save."

Using Netscape:

  1. Place the cursor over the image you want to retrieve.

  2. Using your mouse, right click on the image.

  3. From the menu that appears select "Save Image As..."

  4. Choose a file name and location on your local drive to where you want to save the image.

  5. Click "Save."

Be sure to follow copyright specifications for all retrieved images.

If you see this symbol instead of your picture, it probably means that your permissions have not been set properly.
