Warranty of Service
The University’s service agreement includes a replacement warranty. If the maintenance vendor has been given adequate opportunity to maintain the machine, and if the machine is unable to be returned to satisfactory performance, the vendor is required to replace the machine with a machine of the same capability.
Naturally, the process of achieving a warranty replacement machine requires documentation that we have experienced an uncorrected machine fault for a period of time during which we dutifully reported the fault and during which the machine was not repaired to satisfactory operation. In those situations, the department is asked to coordinate service calls with Printing Services, and Printing Services follows up to help document the machine’s status.
We are motivated to resolve machine issues, including replacements when necessary, with as little disruption as possible.
