Full-service maintenance agreements are kept on all machines. Key operators of each machine are trained to resolve minor issues, e.g., changing toner cartridges, clearing incidental paper jams, etc. Issues that cannot be resolved quickly by the key operator should be reported to the toll-free number displayed on the machine.
A service representative should respond to the site within eight working hours. Most repairs can be determined and completed on a single visit, but some issues can require ordering parts or attempting a sequence of repairs or part replacements to achieve a solution. In cases when the repair requires parts ordering, the machine can be configured for basic operation or a loaner machine can be made available.
