Campus Mail

Addressing

Mail destined for an internal department or individual will be delivered faster and more accurately if the recipient’s complete name and department is on the envelope.  A list of department and individual names is provided in the University directory.

Inter-Office Envelopes

Please be certain that the addressee’s name always appears on the last line.  Do not address between previous markings. 

Internal Parcels

Parcels and packages for internal distribution should be labeled with the full name and department or building of the person to receive them.  Delivery of large items ( 5 pounds or heavier) can be arranged by completing a Delivery Service Delivery Request .Your mail should be separated and rubberbanded together in the following order:

1)     Inter-office mail.

2)     US Postal Service domestic mail.  (Should you have a large mailing of 500 pieces or more, Mailing Services can provide trays).

3)     International Mail.

4)     Personal mail or any other mail with postage affixed.

5)     Mail addressed to student mailboxes.
