Banner Naming Conventions

FORM – a form is a document in which you look up information stored in Banner. Each form has a specific 7-character name. The form name appears in the title bar when the form is open.

You can access forms using the nested folder menu structure or you can type the 7-character name directly into the GO TO field to open a specific form.

Banner Letter Codes

The Banner naming conventions help you remember the form names by having consistent letter codes in the first three positions. The last four codes act as an abbreviation of the form itself.
