Performance Music at The University of Scranton will present its 12th annual Empty Stocking Fund Benefit Concert, featuring the University Concert Band & Choir and String Orchestra on Tuesday, Dec. 4. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the University’s Houlihan-McLean Center (Mulberry Street at Jefferson Avenue). Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
The event will include performances of a variety of holiday favorites and includes an audience Christmas caroling sing-along. (Lyric sheets will be provided.)
All who attend the concert are asked to bring a new toy or article of children’s clothing, or a monetary donation. The collection will benefit children of local families in need this holiday season through collaboration with United Neighborhood Center’s Project Hope.
